Portia Williams is a Community Activist, Restorative Justice Practitioner, Millennial Business Development Consultant, and Serial Entrepreneur. She is the CEO/Founder of Tumaini DC Incorporated. Established in early 2010, Tumaini DC is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides mentoring, academic enrichment, and college/career development services to youth in underserved communities in the DC area. Recognizing
the obstacles that aspiring entrepreneurs and leaders face when forming successful businesses and pursuing personal goals, Portia started Portia Williams Consulting to provide clients with the tools that they need to pursue their dreams with ease. By providing support with business planning, documentation drafting and filing, leadership
coaching, and team building through restorative practices, Portia values a holistic approach to client success and sustainability.
A native of Washington D.C, Portia Williams, has dedicated her life to public service, restorative justice, youth advocacy, education, and philanthropy. Portia understands the importance of effective leadership and business models in building sustainable communities. Thus, she is passionate about assisting visionaries in developing
organizations that will thrive in the communities they serve. In her spare time, Portia enjoys spending time with her son, Mahari and her fiance, Allen. She also enjoys Traveling Abroad, attending personal development and women’s empowerment seminars, researching and making holistic wellness and self-care products, and reading
motivational literature.
