Do you feel like you are time-poor when it comes to managing your Instagram Content?
Are you guilty of sitting there on the couch after a long day of work and hubby or wifey wants to watch a movie with you, but you whisper…
“Just five minutes babe, I need to post on Instagram”.
As I write this I swear I can hear groans from millions of husbands and wives around the world who hear this sentence almost daily.
One of the main reasons I bulk-schedule my content isn’t because I have a husband (not yet anyway!).
It is because I hate having to put my life on hold and look like I’m addicted to my phone when I’m trying to enjoy time with friends or loved ones.
By scheduling my Instagram content in advance I don’t have to spend ages thinking of a caption and choosing an image. I just tap my phone a few times and voila.
But how do I schedule my Instagram content?
How do I come up with ALL this content in one sitting?
It comes down to a perfected process and an amazing Instagram scheduling tool.
My Favorite Instagram Scheduling Tool
If you haven’t heard about this app before, I’m surprised.
I feel like I talk about this app on a daily basis because it seriously has changed my life.
Plann, originally known as Plan Your Gram, is an Instagram Scheduling app that allows you to visually plan your Instagram feed by simply dragging and dropping your content around.
The app has come a long way since it’s launch in 2016, and now offers a variety of features including the ability to:
- Edit images
- Store Hashtags
- Monitor analytics
- Monitor competitor analytics
- Schedule videos
- Images Scheduling
- Schedule Instagram Stories
For a ridiculously affordable price you can gain access to all of these features, and completely transform the way you think about Instagram scheduling.
Content scheduling is what all a thing that all good Instagram accounts have in common.
Note: This app does NOT post on your behalf. Apps that promise this are violating Instagram’s rules and your account could be shadow banned, disabled, and eventually deleted. Don’t risk it.

My Perfected Process for Bulk-Scheduling Instagram Posts
Usually, in the last week of any month, I will sit down for 1-2 hours and schedule my Instagram content for the month ahead.
To do so in such a short amount of time, I do have to have a very clear idea of what I’ll be promoting in that month and what my content focus will be around.

Checklist For Instagram Content Scheduling
To make the process quick I have a mental checklist of things I need to have on my phone or by my side, ready to go once I set my scheduling timer.
- All of the images in Instagram-size ready to schedule on my phone
- All of the video content ready to schedule on my phone
- A calendar with my promotions for the month ahead
- Any bulky details on pricing/features of anything I am promoting
During that blissful scheduling time, I will enjoy a cup of tea, close my office door and ensure that I don’t have any distractions.
